Sabrimala (Mount Sabri - about 3000 feet above sea level) is the most favorite and significant temple in Kerala.  Pilgrimage to this temple symbolizes the journey to heaven. The feeling of delight and spiritual elevation one gets when devotees have the darshan (when devotee sees) of the deity is remarkable and significant.

Famous for its Shore Temple, Mahabalipuram was the second capital and sea port of the Pallava King’s of Kanchipuram. Positioned at the foot of the low-lying, boulder strewn hill , this pleasant little village is a traveler's haunt.

The Golden Temple or Darbar Sahib, situated in Amritsar, Punjab, is the most sacred temple for Sikhs. A symbol of the magnificence and strength of the Sikh people, it is an example of the spirit of tolerance and acceptance that the Sikh philosophy propounds. In its architecture are included symbols associated with other places of worship.
