Days
Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
Stay overnight Hotel Connaught
Day 2:
Delhi Yoga class at Shivananda Yoga Center.
Day 3:
Amritsar Train to Amritsar to witness religious
ceremonies of the Sikhs at the Golden Temple. Overnight Hotel Ritz.
Day 4:
Amritsar-Dharamsala Depart to Dharamsala to visit
Mcleod Ganj.
Day 5:
Dharamsala Morning walk to Dalai Lama monastery. 8
a.m. meditation walk around temple. Evening talk & meditation at
Tushhita Meditation Center. Stay overnight.
Day 6: Dharamsala Independent morning. Visit Dalai Lama
monastery. Overnight stay in Chandigarh.
Day 7:
Chandigarh-Haridwar- Rishikesh Visit Rock Garden in
Chandigarh. Depart for Haridwar. Stroll around and later witness "
Aarti", the ceremony of lamps honoring the Holy Ganges. Drive on to
Rishikesh, overnight Hotel Natraj.
Day 8:
Rishikesh Leave for Shivananda Ashram for meditation
at Rishikesh. After breakfast at Hotel witness spiritual fervour in
local temples and Ashram in the city. Yoga classes and spiritual
lectures. Overnight Hotel Natraj.
Day 9: Rishikesh Morning Yoga classes at Shivananda Ashram,
breakfast at hotel, depart for Delhi by noon.
Day 10: Delhi Full day sightseeing: India Gate, Red Fort,
Birla Temple, Qutab Minar. Witness sufi rituals including Quawwali
music at the tomb of Hazarat Nizzamuddin. Hotel Connaught.
Day 11:
Delhi-Vrindavan Depart for Vrindavan,
Lord krishna's abode. Witness religious ceremonies at ISKCON temple.
Overnight at Hotel. Day 12: Mathura-Agra Witness morning rituals 'Shringar' of
the idol at ISKCON temple and visit Mathura the birth place of 'Lord
Krishna'. Depart for Agra.
Day13: Agra Morning optional sunrise visit to Taj Mahal and
Agra Fort. Enjoy an independent workshop overnight at Hotel Man
Singh Palace. Day14:
Agra-Fatehpur Sikri-Jaipur Depart for Jaipur to
visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted city, enroute. Lunch on arrival.
Overnight Hotel Man Singh Palace Day 15 :Jaipur Visit Palace of Winds, City Palace and elephant ride
at Amber Fort. Leave for Pushkar by 4 p.m. Day 16:
Pushkar A lovely, relaxing village around Holy Lake.
Walking tour including visit to Brahma Temple; relax by the lake. Day 17:
Ajmer Depart Pushkar Arrive in Ajmer, the holiest
pilgrimage for Muslims; visit Mosque. It is so planned so that we
arrive in Ajmer on Friday morning, the holy day for Muslims. Depart
for Udaipur. Day 18: Udaipur Full day sightseeing including the City
Palace Jagdish Mandir, gardens and bazaars. Day 19:
Mt. Abu Departure for Mt. Abu in the morning after
breakfast. Visit Brahma Kumaris ashrams. Evening yoga meditation. Day 20:
Mt. Abu Early morning meditation. Breakfast at
hotel. Visit rare Dilwara (Jain Temples), independent afternoon to
relax. Day 21:
Fly Udaipur-Delhi-Home (or
onward destination) Drive to Udaipur for flight to Delhi and
transfer to Intl Airport for onward destination.
